General Manager, Health, Safety, Environment & Wellbeing, Vicinity Centres

Anna is a Director, Committee Member, and Health, Safety, and Risk Professional with board-level experience across various sectors, including Government, retail, property, transport, and FMCG. In her executive capacity, Anna most recently served as Director of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing at Victoria’s Department of Transport. There, she developed a comprehensive three-year strategy focusing on Transport Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. Prior to this role, Anna held the position of Senior Manager at Public Transport Victoria, where she conducted reviews and upgrades of internal programs, strategies, and policies related to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. She also spearheaded the procurement of an incident management system and mental health service.

Currently, Anna holds the position of Executive GM, Safety, and Environment at Vicinity Centres. In this role, she draws upon her extensive experience working with boards and risk and audit committees to identify, assess, and control health, safety, and environmental risks. At the board level, Anna's primary focus is on mitigating risks. She leverages her profound knowledge in health, safety, and wellbeing matters, coupled with her expertise in people leadership, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and the development and implementation of prevention systems, policies, strategies, and programs. Notable highlights at the board level include her collaboration with the Boards of the Department of Transport and Public Transport Victoria, as well as the Risk and Safety Committee of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport, and Resources.

Anna holds an MBA and is a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
