Mike Hagan
Mike Hagan is a workplace health, safety and human resources consultant and a passionate mental health advocate, with over twenty-five years' experience managing workplace mental health topics from both a health and safety and a human resources perspective.
During his diverse career journey as a fitter & turner, union rep, HSR, operations manager, a nuclear plant safety manager and a senior WHS and HR executive, Mike has witnessed many times, the negative impact upon both organisations and individuals, where poor workplace practices, processes and behaviours were allowed to create cultures of negativity, disengagement, and reduced productivity.
‘Changing processes and procedures is easy’ Mike says, ‘Changing behaviours is much harder, especially when it’s sometimes leadership behaviours that need to be changed’.
